Inspired by shadow puppetry, each character, including the clever monkey and kind crocodile, comes to life through carefully cut alphabets illuminated to cast captivating shadows on plain cotton. The fusion of typography and shadow puppetry creates a visual symphony, breathing contemporary life into ancient tales.

Welcome to my special project! I've taken the amazing stories from the Panchatantra and added a fun twist. Instead of drawing pictures, I've created characters using letters of the alphabet and made them into puppets. Using the art of shadow puppetry as my muse, I've crafted a typographic storybook that is truly one-of-a-kind. Each character, from the clever monkey to the kind crocodile, is represented by carefully cut alphabets transformed into puppets.
These puppets are then set against a backdrop of curtains, with light shining from behind to cast shadows on plain cotton. My process was both meticulous and joyful. I photographed each letter puppet individually, then composed them together in scenes using Photoshop.
